Poem

On a hot sunny weekend, camping on the river banks,

Hrithvik and his family spent the leisure fishing.

His father set the hook and the rod.

Ready for fishing, he cast the fishing pole.

The hook swayed beneath the waters.

A sudden yell, sharp and intense, Hrithvik warned them.

Heard through the hissing winds and the crashing waves,

Turning towards Hrithvik, father sensed the threat.

The crocodile preparing for the silent attack.

No sooner, had he felt the push than he fell back,

Quick in action, he regained his balance,

Father and son pulled her out together.

Having fled away from river beds, they watched,

The crocodile turn back into deep waters.

Sighing in relief after the pounding hearts soften.

Thanking god for the rescue, their hearts still racing.

Poem

Did the crocodile change his course?

A hot sunny day, a quiet fishing camp,

The hook and rod set for fishing on the banks.

Hurried, the pole was cast into wands.

Beneath the waters, the hooks hit the swamp.

Deep inside, the tensions fanned the fray.

A sudden yell, sharp, intense and smashing.

Beyond hissing winds and waves crashing.

Vowing a silent feast, the beast crept a slow sway.

The danger echoed a fear still frozen low.

Quick in action, they both pulled her in flight.

Their hearts still racing, fleeing far from its bite.

Relieved of fear, they watched the giant go.
